CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

Family Lawyer (graduate/junior)

Location: Newcastle/Hybrid - mix of office and remote work
Hours: 3 days per week (flexible days and hours)
Role type: Part-time.

We’re looking for a motivated family lawyer to join our boutique, client-focused practice. This role is ideal for a graduate lawyer, newly admitted solicitor, or early-career lawyer (1–2 years PAE) who’s eager to develop strong advocacy and case management skills in a supportive, flexible environment.

About the Role:

You'll have the opportunity to:

Manage and run your own family law files (with close mentoring and supervision).
Appear in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Work across a diverse range of parenting, property, and family violence matters.
Build your confidence in client communication, advocacy, and casework.

You’ll receive extensive on-the-job training and mentoring while being trusted with meaningful responsibility from day one. We offer hybrid and flexible working arrangements, with in-person attendance required only for court and client commitments.

Are a graduate, newly admitted, or early-career lawyer (1–2 years PAE) with a genuine interest in family law.
Have strong written and verbal advocacy skills and are confident engaging with clients.
Are proactive, organised, and ready to hit the ground running.
